Employee Giving

Employee Giving

Employees have opportunities to give back to ProHealth Care throughout the year.  Events such as the Bowling Bash, the ProHealth Walks for Cancer, the On Angel's Wings Dinner and other special events are integral in providing support for ProHealth Care initiatives.

Another way employees can support our mission is by participating in the annual Employee Giving campaign.  Gifts through this campaign directly impact the quality of care that our patients receive.  Patient care services, health education, research and vital equipment purchases have all been made possible through support from our ProHealth Care employee family.

About the Foundations

Philanthropy is vital to promote and deliver extraordinary healthcare in the communities we serve.  Oconomowoc and Waukesha Memorial Hospital Foundations exist to provide advocacy and financial support to the patients of ProHealth Care.

Community Values and vision drive ProHealth Care to plan continuous improvements in our healthcare programs and facilities.  These enhancements are designed to advance patient care, medical outcomes and community health.  Generous financial support to our Foundations make these programs and projects possible.

Gifts of all sizes, whether unrestricted or designated to a specific department or program, help ProHealth Care provide the best care to every patient.  Contributions to the Foundations, which are both 501(c)3 charitable organizations, are tax-deductible as prescribed by law.

Where the Money Goes

Employees can give unrestricted gifts or make designated gifts to a number of programs and departments of ProHealth Care.

Unrestricted gifts enable the Foundations to respond to a variety of needs within ProHealth Care at the discretion of leadership and Foundation boards. Some of the programs that have received support from unrestricted gifts in the past include:

  • Parish & Community Outreach Nurses
  • MAKOplasty robotic equipment
  • Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner Program

Employees may also choose to designate their gift to a specific program or project.  Designated gifts can only be used for the program or project the donor intended.  For a full list of programs and departments supported by the Foundations, please contact one of the Foundation Offices.
