Henry attributes a miraculous outcome to the power of prayer and the neuroscience team at Waukesha Memorial.
In June 2007, 60-year-old minister Henry Stewart was jogging when, out of the blue, he collapsed and was rushed to Waukesha Memorial Hospital and diagnosed with a brain aneurysm.
The prognosis was not good. As ProHealth Care neurosurgeon Dr. Kenneth Reichert explained to Henry and his family that night, Henry was facing 50-50 odds of survival. His MRI showed blood pooling on the brain. If he survived, he was possibly looking at serious brain damage -- including severe memory loss -- putting memories of his 11 grandchildren at risk. But, the aneurysm was skillfully clipped by Dr. Reichert. And afterwards, Henry and his family were overjoyed to discover that he had no ill effects from his surgery. A miraculous outcome Henry attributes to the power of prayer and the neuroscience team at Waukesha Memorial.
