ProHealth Care's Awards & Achievements

The ProHealth Care Regional Cancer Center at Waukesha Memorial Hospital is one of only 14 hospitals in the country to receive a grant from the National Cancer Institute (NCI), part of the National Institutes of Health, to expand its cancer research program, supportive care services and provide state-of-the-art cancer care to underserved populations. 	Waukesha Memorial Hospital has been named one of the nation's 100 Top Hospitals® by Thomson Reuters in the teaching hospitals category. The annual award recognizes hospitals that have achieved excellence in clinical outcomes, patient safety, patient satisfaction, financial performance and operational efficiency.
	Waukesha and Oconomowoc Memorial Hospitals are proud to be designated as Primary Stroke Centers by The Joint Commission. In 2010, Waukesha Memorial Hospital received the American Stroke Association's Get With the Guidelines (GWTG) Gold Performance Plus Award while Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital received the Silver Performance Plus Award. These awards signify both hospitals' commitment and success in implementing a higher standard of stroke care and meeting the requirements of the GWTG stroke program. In addition, both hospitals were recognized at the International Stroke Conference, held in February 2010 in Texas, for outstanding stroke programs.
	The Regional Cancer Center is proud to have received the Outstanding Achievement Award from the Commission on Cancer.
	The Multiple Sclerosis Clinic earns recognition by being affiliated with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
	Waukesha Memorial Hospital's Regional Heart & Vascular Center has been further distinguished by receiving a 100 Top Hospitals National Award in the 2007 Thomson 100 Top Hospitals: Cardiovascular Benchmarks for Success Study, 9th Edition and the 2007 Blue Distinction Center for Cardiac Care.
	Sixty-three of ProHealth Care Medical Associates physicians have been recognized by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) diabetes quality initiative.
	Press Ganey, a national leader in patient satisfaction measurement, has awarded the Emergency Department at Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital the 2008 and 2009 Summit Award for patient satisfaction - the only hospital in Wisconsin to have achieved this honor two consecutive years. The award is achieved by consistently sustaining an overall rank above the 95^th percentile in the Press Ganey patient satisfaction database for three consecutive years.
	Milwaukee Magazine has named ProHealth Care Medical Associatesone of 37 companies that are Southeastern Wisconsin's "Best Places to Work" for 2008. Also, the Wellness Council of Wisconsin awarded ProHealth Care Medical Associates a Gold award in 2007.
