ProHealth Care respects all of our patients' and Web site visitors' right to privacy and security and has therefore implemented state-of-the-art security features on our Web site.

You'll notice that many areas of our site that require you to provide personal information, such as medical or credit card information, are secure. Secure pages are noted by an https in the web address (URL) at the top of your browser page, as well as a locked lock icon at the bottom of your browser page. Double click on the locked lock icon to bring up our security certificate information. The security certificate guarantees the identity of the remote computer to which you are providing confidential personal information. In other words, it assures you that the site you are visiting and providing information to is in fact operated by ProHealth Care and/or its entities.

All credit card and other personal and medical information provided to us online is kept on an SSL (secure sockets layer) server. Sensitive information (credit card, medical, prescription refill and pre-registration information) is encrypted in transit to minimize the risk of theft and purged from the secure server as soon as a transaction is processed (within one business day). Non-sensitive information (such as customer's name and address and transaction number) is kept on file for tracking purposes. Our secure server is used solely for maintaining and hosting our Web sites.

Login and Password

Some areas of the site may require an e-mail address and password. This protects your confidentiality and assures that other users cannot gain access to your personal information. You should never give out your password to other people. Choose passwords that use a combination of letters and numbers and that are not obvious to other people.
