Research Participants

ProHealth Care is committed to protecting the rights and welfare of people who volunteer for research. Volunteers are also known as "subjects" or "participants." The ProHealth Care Research Institute wishes to provide current research subjects and potential research participants with basic information about research participation and about the rights of research participants. We hope this information will help you make informed choices if:

  • someone from ProHealth Care asks you to participate in research,
  • you see or hear advertisements for ProHealth Care research and think about volunteering, or
  • you want to volunteer for research, but you do not know where to start.
