Regional Cancer Center

Award-winning Cancer Care in Southeast WisconsinCancerCenter

"The new treatments give patients real hope. Real hope casts out fear and chases worry from the corners of one's mind. The people who were at the Center were fun to deal with and in the course of the week of treatments, they became almost like family. We would talk and share humorous comments each day we met, just like old friends. They cared. Caring casts out fear."   William P., Oconomowoc

Our nationally recognized Regional Cancer Center continues to delight patients close to home — and far away. To us, it’s all about providing the best experience for our patients for the best possible results.

We're all about

Making it personal. Providing the best care is a personal mission for us – and why we make it personal for our patients. Here, we know your name. Patients tell us they feel home and part of an extended family. Our physicians, nurses and staff focus on you and your unique needs, and our care coordinators follow you along the journey, serving as your advocate.

Bringing you nationally recognized expertise, close to home. You have access to all the expert opinions across the country, right here. Our specialists trained at world-renowned cancer facilities like M.D. Anderson and Mayo Clinic — and we regularly collaborate with these and other providers to deliver you the best care and expertise, including offering national clinical trials through our Research Institute.

Leading the way for advanced cancer care. We have the latest technology and have been accredited with all the awards that make a Regional Cancer Center the best place for care. In fact, we were the first cancer center in Wisconsin to receive the Commission on Cancer’s Outstanding Achievement Award, and we continue to hold this title longer than anyone in the state. We bring it all to our community, close to home.

Treatment centers close to your home. With locations in Waukesha, Oconomowoc, and Mukwonago, the Regional Cancer Center is where your neighbors go for outstanding care that’s world class and close to home. We honor and welcome the opportunity to listen to your story and needs.

Our cancer care services

The Regional Cancer Center offers hope to thousands of new cancer patients each year. No matter where you are in your fight against cancer, we can help. We treat most cancers, including brain, breast, prostate, leukemia and lymphomas, colorectal, lung and skin cancer.

Why choose us for cancer care?

Sophisticated cancer technology

Better technology equals better outcomes. ProHealth Care's Regional Cancer Center has invested in the most advanced cancer technology, normally found only at large academic research facilities. This means you have access to high-tech cancer diagnostic and treatment capabilities, including CyberKnife. We also offer robotic surgery, sophisticated imaging, advanced radiosurgery capabilities and more.

A team approach to cancer care

Our team approach to care includes medical and radiation oncologists, surgeons, pathologists, radiologists and other physician specialists, cancer care coordinators and a dedicated team of nurses. At the Regional Cancer Center, your diagnosis will be reviewed at a multidisciplinary conference offering multiple second opinions at one time by physicians from a variety of medical specialties.

Innovative cancer treatment planning

Our expert team will develop a comprehensive cancer care plan for the health of your body, mind and spirit. We'll listen to you and find the most comprehensive, advanced cancer treatment options combined with complementary therapies tailored to meet your needs and beat your particular type of cancer.

Grant from the National Cancer Institute

Our compassionate cancer care is coupled with a national reputation for excellence and research. The Regional Cancer Center at Waukesha Memorial is among only 14 hospitals in the nation to receive a grant from the National Cancer Institute (NCI) to expand our cancer research program, supportive care services and provide state-of-the-art cancer care to underserved populations throughout Southeast Wisconsin.
